Ten years at a bank's credit desk. Now I teach what I learnt there.
I'm CA Ankush Jain. For over ten years I worked in bank credit, underwriting working capital, business loans and loans against property (LAP) from ₹10 lakh to ₹75 crore. Since 2021 I've taught that work in simple language to more than 1 lakh learners across the world, from first-time job seekers to senior bankers and business owners.

Banking career
Ten years on the lender's side of the table.
My work was credit underwriting across working capital finance, business loans and loans against property. Day to day, that meant reading financials, assessing CMA data, studying bank statements, visiting borrowers on the ground, checking property valuations and legal reports, and writing the notes that decided whether a proposal moved forward.
The loans I handled ranged from ₹10 lakh to ₹75 crore. I worked across four of India's leading private sector banks.
Those years taught me that most loans aren't decided by a single ratio. They're decided by whether the numbers, the business and the borrower tell the same story. That's what I teach.
